Hello World!
This is the first time I have tried this.
I was trying to congratulate Elizabeth Watts on her performance during the Cardiff Singer of The World competition, and I end up doing this!
John & I have just come back from France after a wet holiday in Provence. I know; it's supposed to be dry down there, but we had a thunderstorm nearly every day!
We got home to our orchard in Devon to find that the sheep had got in to 2 of my 3 veggie patches & eaten the lot!! Moral - stay at home & cultivate your garden.
I'll leave you with the thought that although I love France, speaking French, French friends & French food, England is not such a bad place. Wimbledon & the Proms coming soon.
